The mission of ILAN, Israel’s Foundation for the Handicapped, is to provide the disabled population of Israel with all the services and treatments needed, from birth on, throughout their whole life. Ilan`s objective is to help the handicapped realize his or her full potential and independence and ensure their well-being.
In addition to physical rehabilitation, we believe in the tremendous importance of social rehabilitation which contributes so much to the improvement of a disabled person’s self image.

ILAN aims to improve the quality of life of physically disabled people in Israel and to promote their integration into society. Through deep recognition of the difficulties and challenges facing the disabled, ILAN is committed to helping them claim their status of `equals among equals` and of individuals and citizen who contribute to their community.
